Onions have a long shelf life and are better when stored at room temperature in a dark and dry place with proper ventilation. Onions may absorb moisture from other vegetables if stored together and cause them to decay; so it’s optimal to be stored separately. Nutritional Facts:
Onions are nutrient-dense food which is high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants while being lower in calories. They are very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium.
