About the product:
The leaves are variously referred to as coriander leaves, fresh coriander, dhania, Chinese parsley, or cilantro. The fresh leaves are an ingredient in different cuisine throughout the world such as chutneys, salads, and salsa and is widely used as a garnish for soup, fish and meat. As heat diminishes their flavour, coriander leaves are often used raw or added to the dish immediately before serving. In Indian and Central Asian recipes coriander leaves are used in large amounts.
Wash the coriander leaves properly and let them dry. Keep them as batches in a ziplock bag and refrigerate them.
Coriander leaves are particularly rich in manganese, vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin K and protein with moderate content of dietary minerals, calcium, phosphorous, potassium, niacin and carotene.
Coriander lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) and increases the levels of good cholesterol (HDL). Very good food for the digestive system, coriander promotes liver functions and bowel movements. It is also good for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
