Drumstick also called as moringa is a native of the Indian subcontinent. They have long, dark, green, bumpy pods running along the length and fleshy pulp inside. They have a fair bitter taste combined with a slight sweetness. It has been proclaimed as one of the more recent superfoods. Drumsticks are widely known to be therapeutic with high nutrient contents. It has been used in Indian cooking especially South Indian dishes for centuries. it is also added to soups, salads, pickles and different sauces to add a crunch.

Wash and dry drumsticks thoroughly and chop it into pieces; keep them refrigerated in an airtight container.
